Rock Creek wrestling ended last week with two successful outings, beating Riley County in a home dual Friday before finishing first at the Onaga Invitational on Saturday.

Versus Riley County, the Mustangs rolled, winning 66-12.

Rock Creek got wins by fall from Seth Figge (0:19), Spencer Bard (1:05), Eli Shoup (2:47), Aiden McKinney (0:52), Gavin Shoup (0:28), Jacob Stevens (1:59), Brendan Smith (0:50), and Cooper Bittle (3:55).

Riley County got wins from Sampson Wagonner (by fall in 22 seconds) and Torrin Sheaves (by fall in 1:29).

Just a day later, the Mustangs traveled to Onaga and finished first as a team, scoring 140.5 points. They finished ahead of Manhattan’s junior varsity squad (130), Onaga (96.5), Nemaha Central (92.5) and 14 other teams.

Finishing first for Rock Creek was Figge, McKinney, Smith, and Bittle. Elocin Moran finished first for the Mustang girls.

Kody Howard and Cecilia Lynch took second, Spencer Bard and Eli Shoup finished third and Gracie Roth finished fourth.
