Manhattan High senior safety Colby Klieman signed on to continue his football career at Salina’s Kansas Wesleyan University on Tuesday.
Klieman recorded 51 tackles, five for a loss and an interception this season for the Indians, helping them to a 9-2 record and a berth in the sectional round of the Class 6A football playoffs.
The senior announced the signing in a tweet, stating that he’s “100% Committed”.
Klieman is the youngest son of Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman.
The Coyotes are coming off a successful 11-2 campaign where they advanced to the NAIA Football Championship Series quarterfinals where they fell to Morningside, 58-21, on Nov. 27.
