The Centennial League hosted its league championship meet Monday afternoon at Western Hills Golf Course in Topeka. The Manhattan High girls’ golf team finished fourth overall, with one top-10 finisher.
Freshman Emily Wuggazer took top honors for the Indians, placing 10th overall with an 89 (46-43).
Sophomore Rylee Wisdom (48-46) and junior Lexi Smith (46-48) tied for 16th with a 94, freshman Scarlett Mercado placed 20th with a 96 (47-49) and senior Lizzy Tauschek placed right behind her, finishing 21st with a 98 (52-46).
Freshman Kaitlyn Lagabed placed 23rd with a 99 (45-54).
The Indians competed at the Lawrence Invitational at Eagle Bend Golf Course on Wednesday.
