Manhattan High swimmers qualified for Saturday’s finals in six individual events and three relays at the 6A state tournament on Friday.
The top 16 finishers in each preliminary race moved on to the finals.
Max Steffensmeier earned a spot in the 200-yard individual medley final with a 13th-place finish and a time of 2:06.76.
Samson Staedtler finished 13th in the 50-yard freestyle at 22.61 and 15th in the 100-yard freestyle at 50.05.
Ethan Balman came in sixth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.07.
Willow Graves got fourth in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:00.39, while Mitchell Bunger came in 12th in the same race at 5:09.87. Graves also finished 13th in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:02.94.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Steffensmeier, Graves, Balman and Staedtler took seventh at 1:40.12. The Indians placed 12th in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:34.00, with Balman, Bunger, Staedtler and Kaiser Wymer swimming in that group. Wymer, Balman, Bunger and Graves took 14th in the 400-yard freestyle relay at 3:31.65.
