After a full week off from competition, the Manhattan High volleyball team (5-9) showed no rust Tuesday as it downed Topeka (4-6) in two sets and Topeka West (11-7) in three in a triangular hosted by the Chargers.
The Indians grabbed Set 1 versus the Trojans 25-18 before taking Set 2, and the match, 25-20.
Versus the Chargers, Manhattan won Set 1 25-17 before narrowly falling 23-25 in Set 1. MHS rallied to take Set 3 by six points, 25-19.
The Indians will compete at the Seaman Invitational on Saturday, where they’ll play Lansing (10-1), Silver Lake (14-4), Spring Hill (10-3), Hayden (5-14) and Seaman (11-5)
