Berek A. Skinner, 35, was called home to be with his heavenly father August 19, 2019 unexpectedly from heart disease.

Berek lived in Manhattan, KS recently for a period of time and then moved to Pittsburgh, Kansas to be closer to his family and son.

He was born March 13, 1984 and baptized in Cherry Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. He was successful in school, and played on the high school basketball team and was captain of the football team.

Berek was an incredible artist who loved to draw and tattoo, he had plans on tattooing in Joplin, Missouri in the near future. Berek loved the Cardinals & the Rams, working with his hands and spending time with his family, especially nieces and nephews.

He is survived by a son Dylan James Anthony Skinner, a unborn baby girl, brothers Zach and TJ Skinner, Brandon and Nicholas Shields sisters Rebecca and Tabitha Shields, his mother Judith Mary Frank and wife Taylor Skinner.

Berek has been cremated, and the family is having a closed funeral service.
