The Manhattan-Ogden school district will streamline its web services with a refreshed website that will go live Thursday.

Michelle Jones, district communications director, said the district has been working on the redesign for the past nine months.

“It’s just a refresh of our existing website,” Jones said. “It’s still the same provider, but they offered us an opportunity to do a refresh.”

Jones said the district talked with several groups of stakeholders, including parents, teachers and administrative staff, to determine what those groups look for in the website. The district analyzed its most frequently visited pages, and the website development involved research and work into the website’s back end to make sure everything still functioned well, Jones said.

The transition to the new design starts Thursday afternoon and should take a couple of hours, Jones said. Its URL,, remains the same, and district patrons shouldn’t see any disruption in website services.
