A seven-vehicle crash near Ogden on Kansas Highway 18 injured three people Monday morning.
Officers responded to reports of an injury crash near the intersection of Kansas Highway 18 and Riley Avenue, between Manhattan Regional Airport and Ogden, at 5:35 a.m.
A Riley County police report says a driver, Taralynn Gresham, 19, Manhattan, failed to stop when the vehicle in front of her, driven by Austin Carpenter, 25, Manhattan, slowed down.
The crash caused a pileup of cars behind them.
Other drivers involved included Stephanie Cruz Soto, 23; Matthew Naimon, 26; Paula Arriaga, 26; Randall Seitz Jr., 25; and Denise Erickson, 48; all of Manhattan.
Emergency responders took Gresham and her two passengers to Ascension Via Christi Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The incident temporarily closed the westbound lane of K-18 from about 7 to 7:30 a.m.
