A sign that allegedly appeared Monday night on the door of a K-State student's Jardine Apartment.

Someone reportedly posted a racist sign on a Kansas State University student’s on-campus apartment door.

K-State sophomore Brodrick Burse posted on social media at 10 p.m. Monday pictures of a sign attached to the doorpost of his apartment at Jardine on the west side of campus.

The sign, a white piece of paper with handwriting, said “Beware (N-words) live here!!! Knock at your own risk.”

The KSU police responded to the incident at 6:30 p.m. Monday. K-State officials said police contacted other residents in the building and found no additional notes. KSU police continue investigating the incident.
