Police arrested a Manhattan man Tuesday on charges related to soliciting a child and possessing sexual images of a child.

Officers arrested Phillip Andrew Dews, 25, 3000 Tuttle Creek Blvd. No. 140, on a Dickinson County warrant for four counts of electronic solicitation of a child he allegedly believed was older than 14 but younger than 16, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child for possessing media of a child under 18, and unlawful possession of visual depiction of a child 12 to 16 years old.

The incidents are said to have occurred between January and May 2019.

Dews is confined at Riley County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
