• Isley Tekyah Lewis, 18, 1737 Plymouth Road, for DUI, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, possession of marijuana, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body and liquor purchase, possession or consumption by minor. Free on $750 bond.

• Tierra Kirstin Jackson, 28, 501 Stone Drive No. 1214, for failure to appear. Free on $1,000 bond.

• Chelsea Rae Thatcher, 24, 730 Allen Road No. 35, for domestic battery. Not confined at Riley County Jail; no bond listed.

• Gary L. Kasten, 71, 3231 Ella Lane, for DUI. Free on $750 bond.

• Larry Scott Cargal, 38, Junction City, for failure to appear. Free on $1,000 bond.

INCIDENTS

• A 25-year-old man reported someone damaged the paint on his vehicle, according to a Riley County Police Department report. Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property Friday at 4207 Spook Rock Way Friday. Estimated total loss is $5,000.

• A woman allegedly took a 67-year-old woman’s diamond ring, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for theft in the 400 block of Walters Drive Friday. Estimated total loss is $1,200.

• One person was injured in a crash Friday near the intersection of Seth Child Road and Dickens Avenue. Officers responded to the scene around 5 p.m., and found that a 2017 Gold Lincoln MKX driven by Delores Thomas, 85, Manhattan, had crashed into a 2011 Silver Chrysler 300 driven by Jaylynn Liggons, 18, Manhattan. Responders took Thomas Ascension Via Christi Hospital for treatment of her injuries, and police issued her a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

• A 47-year-old man reported someone took his silver Shamino 21 Speed bicycle, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for theft at 601 Poyntz Ave. Friday. Estimated total loss is $800.

• A 47-year-old man reported someone took his Schwinn bicycle and another silver bicycle of an unknown brand, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for theft at 1010 Garden Way Friday. Estimated total loss is $1,600.

• A 45-year-old man reported someone took miscellaneous tools from his work vehicle, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for vehicle burglary at 1120 Waters St. Saturday. Estimated total loss is $1,105.

• Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan Sunday, according to an RCPD report.. Officers listed a 20-year-old female as the victim and a man known to her as the suspect. Because of the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

• A 52-year-old man reported two men he knew tried to burglarize his residence, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for attempted aggravated burglary at 704 E. Marlatt Ave. Saturday.

• Police refused to identify the victims, despite the fact that the information is public record under state law. Police ask anyone with information contact Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Information provided to Crime Stoppers at 785-539-7777 could result in a cash reward up to $1,000.
