• Randy Lamar Thompson, 28, Manhattan, for aggravated failure to appear. Confined on $10,000 bond.

• Christopher Evan Cuchy, 26, Manhattan, for probation violation. Confined on $4,000 bond.

• Elizabeth Anne Hoover, 27, St. George, for DUI. Confined on $1,500 bond.

• Karl Ray Drown, 22, 2000 Blue Hills Road, for domestic battery. Confined on $1,000 bond.

INCIDENTS

• A 42-year-old man reported someone took his white extended cab Chevy truck, according to a Riley County Police Department report. Officers filed a report for motor vehicle theft Friday at 705 Third Place. Estimated total loss is $13,000. Police refused to identify the victim, despite the fact that the information is public record under state law.

• A 32-year-old man allegedly battered a 28-year-old woman and damaged property, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, aggravated assault and aggravated intimidation Friday. Because of the domestic nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

• Two men sexually battered a 29-year-old woman, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for sexual battery Saturday in Manhattan. Because of the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

• A woman fraudulently opened a lease under a 19-year-old woman’s name, according to an RCPD report. Officers filed a report for identity theft and forgery Saturday at 500 Admiral Way. Estimated total loss is $6,317.49. Police refused to identify the victim, despite the fact that the information is public record under state law.

• A Junction City woman was injured after she and two other cars crashed into cows standing in the road in Manhattan early Saturday morning. Officers responded to the report of an injury crash in the 5200 block of Fort Riley Blvd. at 1:10 a.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2004 Silver Chevrolet Silverado driven by Aaron Diaz, 27, Fort Riley, a 2012 Jeep Compass driven by Amy Moore, 23, Junction City, and a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, whose driver was not on scene, had crashed into six cows, all of which died. Responders took Moore to Ascension Via Christi Hospital for treatment of her injuries and was later released that day.

• A woman was injured following a crash Friday near Seth Child Commons, according to an RCPD report. Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road at 1:40 p.m. They found that a 2012 Ford F550 driven by Clifford Shepard, 60, had crashed with a 2014 Chevrolet Cruse driven by Courtney Hardaway, 24. Responders took Hardaway to Ascension Via Christi Hospital for treatment of her injuries and was later released that day.

• Connor Furrey, 20, 1827 Hunting Ave., for liquor purchase, possession or consumption by a minor at 12:20 a.m. Friday while at 1127 Moro St., Tubby’s Sports Bar.

• Jo Walston, 54, West Allis, Wisconsin, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:35 a.m. Friday while in the 1000 block of Humboldt Street.

• Tahmineh Gueramy, 47, Austin, Texas, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:35 a.m. Friday while in the 1000 block of Humboldt Street.

• Dean Schlabowske, 54, West Allis, Wisconsin, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:35 a.m. Friday while in the 1000 block of Humboldt Street.
