Kansas State men’s basketball got the ball rolling on its 2020 recruiting efforts Wednesday.

Nijel Pack, a point guard from Indiana, announced his commitment to the Wildcats in a post on his personal Twitter account. Unlike many other prospects, Pack didn’t post a long message along with his tweet. Instead, he simply wrote, “Committed” along with the hashtag #gowildcats, accompanied by three pictures of himself wearing a K-State jersey.

A 6-foot, 160-pound guard, Pack plays for Lawrence Central in Indianapolis.

Rivals and 247Sports both rate him as a three-star prospect. The sites also agree on his placement within the state, tabbing him as the No. 5 player in Indiana for the 2020 cycle. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 199 nationally.
