Kansas State football picked up its first quarterback commitment for the 2020 class Sunday. The Wildcats may have found someone he can throw to in the future Monday.
Jaelon Travis, a wideout from Texas, committed to K-State in a message posted to his personal Twitter account Monday afternoon. His pledge came one day after quarterback Will Howard committed to the Wildcats.
Travis, who plays for Summit High School in Mansfield, Texas, also held an offer from Texas Southern. He has yet to receive a rating from any of the major recruiting services.
Travis is the 17th commitment in the 2020 cycle for K-State. It ranks second among Big 12 schools to Kansas’ 20.
