Skylar Thompson on the phone

Skylar Thompson won’t be answering the phone for the K-State Alumni Association, but people can call, or go online, to purchase tickets and travel packages for K-State’s game against Navy at the Liberty Bowl on Dec. 31 in Memphis.

K-State football is going bowling in Memphis, and the K-State Alumni Association is selling bowl packages for the Dec. 31 Liberty Bowl matchup against Navy.

People who purchase the package also will have access to the K-State Sports Tours Hospitality Desk and on-hand K-State Alumni Association staff.

Pricing starts at $1,344 for single rooms, $929 per person for a double room, $809 per person for a triple room, $749 per person for a quad room and $229 per child.

Extra nights are available, but for an additional price.

However, tickets to the game and transportation to and from Memphis are not included in the travel package.

Tickets will be mailed approximately 10 days before the game.

The game, which is K-State’s second appearance at the Liberty Bowl and first time facing Navy in school history, kicks off at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 31 on ESPN.
