Kansas State women’s basketball landed twins on Sunday.

Brylee Glenn announced on her personal Twitter that she and her sister Jaelyn, who are Class of 2021 guards, committed to K-State. The twins attend The Barstow School in Kansas City, Missouri.

“I would like to thank my parents for every sacrifice they’ve made for me in order to make this happen,” Brylee wrote in a note, which she screenshotted to put into the tweet. “All my trainers and coaches who have supported me, and not only helped make me a better ball player but an all-around better person.

“I am so blessed to continue to play a game I’m so passionate about at the D-I level, and I couldn’t imagine doing it anywhere else.”

Brylee and Jaelyn are the first 2021 commits for Jeff Mittie and Co. Brylee (5-foot-10) and Jaelyn (6 feet) earned first team all-district honors as freshmen last season.

Last year, KC Prep Report wrote a story on Barstow. It mentioned the twins as key pieces of the team, saying they had been “well known in youth basketball circles for years.”

“They do not play like freshmen,” Barstow head coach Josh House told KC Prep Report. “I would put them up against most seniors around town. They have skills beyond their years. They have passing and ball-handling abilities that are incredible to watch.

“With all that skill they are great teammates. They love to share the ball and are unselfish. They want to compete on defense. Anytime I ask them if they want to pick up full court. They are like ‘Oh Yeah. We want to turn up the pressure.’ It’s a direct result of the hard work they have put in.”

They won’t be on campus for some time, but they’re two players the K-State fan base can begin to look forward to watching in the coming years.
