A K-State committee narrowed its search for a new university provost and executive vice president down to four candidates on Thursday.
The candidates include John Floros, dean of K-State’s College of Agriculture and director of K-State Research and Extension; Charles Taber, vice provost for graduate and professional education at Stony Brook University; Daniel Reed, University Computational Science and Bioinformatics Chair at the University of Iowa; and Kimberly Espy, senior vice president for research at the University of Arizona.
The candidates will participate in open forum interviews in the coming weeks.
Taber will interview at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the K-State Alumni Center. Reed will interview at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Regnier Hall. Floros will interview at 3:30 p.m. March 12 at the K-State Alumni Center. Espy will interview at 3:30 p.m. March 13 at the K-State Alumni Center.
The university plans to hire a new provost and executive vice president to replace April Mason, who has announced her last day at K-State is June 30.
