A Pottawatomie County judge sentenced a Wamego man on Friday to 13 years in prison for the 2018 murder of a Wamego teenager.

Judge Jeff Elder ordered Cody Lamia-Beck, 24, to serve the 156-month sentence through the Kansas Department of Corrections.

Lamia-Beck was convicted in June of second-degree murder for the death of 19-year-old Jacob Bouck.

Bouck went missing on Dec. 21 and authorities later found his body in the Kansas River west of Wamego on Dec. 24 with wounds to the neck.
