The apple will drop from the top of Rally House in Aggieville, signifying another year as well a new decade.
There are a plethora of other events on deck to commence the start of 2020 in Aggieville as well.
Sisters of Sound Records is hosting a free art viewing event in Aggieville until 6 p.m.
Bluestem Bistro is hosting a sing-along event and New Year’s Eve ball drop countdown for kids with Mr. Steve from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
From 6-8 p.m., people can hop on a trolly to take in all the sights of the season. Pick-up is at Moro and 12th streets.
Uncorked Inspiration is hosting a paint and sip event at 6 p.m.
Kite’s Bar and Grill is hosting a free teen and adult karaoke event starting at 7:15 p.m., which lasts until 2 a.m.
Martika, a roving fire act, will weave through Aggieville from 6:45-11 p.m.
People can hear live music at the Bluemont Hotel from 7-11 p.m. Philosophy of Lions, Headlight Rivals and MACQ Network perform at the free event.
DJ Dan Michaels of Q Country 1035 and Power Hits 97.5 is hosting a free live remote broadcast in front of Rally House from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.
In addition, people can donate hats and gloves for the USD 383 FIT Closet as well as toiletry items for the Flint Hills Breadbasket today.
The Little Apple Drop will end the night and start the new year to close out all the New Year’s Eve festivities in Aggieville.
