While our community programs are on hold for now, access to fresh air and open space is still extremely valuable to our well-being! In response to this need and these changing times, we are expanding Open Trail Days to Wednesdays and Sundays, every week, weather permitting, from 1pm - Dusk.
In keeping with national health and safety recommendations, please note:
• Restroom facilities will be closed during Open Trail Days
• Blue Sage Gallery will be closed, but a Prairiewood staff person will be on site to answer questions.
• Maps and other info will be available at a kiosk in front of the Blue Sage Gallery along with hand sanitizer -- PLEASE TAKE WHAT YOU TOUCH AND DO NOT RETURN USED MAPS.
• No campfire or campfire talks will be offered during this time.
• Please practice generous social distancing between yourself and others while on trails.
• As usual, please leave pets at home when visiting us!
Despite these difficult times, the prairie is starting to come alive again, and we hope you will take time to witness this with us in a safe and responsible way. We will post updates in this event page for inclement weather or other changes, so please check back before you visit!
** The health & safety of our community is our top concern, so please read our updated trail day policies and always be mindful of social distancing when visiting communal spaces **
