The Sunflower Bank branch at 130 Sarber Lane is permanently closing in December.
“With the growing popularity of online and mobile banking, we are seeing decreased visits to some of our physicial locations,” regional president Glynn Sheridan said in a letter.
The branch, which is inside the eastside Dillons, will close Dec. 13 at noon.
Customers can still access services at the Sunflower Bank at 2710 Anderson Ave. in Manhattan. The branch closure will not affect accounts or other banking services, according to Sheridan. Direct deposits or automatic withdrawals will not be impacted either.
Sunflower Bank has two other locations in the area: one on Anderson Avenue and one in Junction City at 510 N. Jefferson St.
