Q: What’s going in the old Pita Pit location in Aggieville?

Manhattanites looking to fulfill late night cravings will soon have another eatery option later this fall.

Fat Shack is looking at late November for opening its doors at the former Pita Pit location, 1131 Moro St., said Charles Walker, director of national store operations for Fat Shack. Walker said the restaurant will have a finalized date in the next month.

The restaurant specializes in burgers and “fat sandwiches.” It also serves an assortment of other goodies, including shakes, desserts that are deep fried, macaroni and cheese bites, and fried pickles.

Fat Shack announced their expansion to Aggieville in August.

The restaurant, started by Tom Armenti, opened first in Fort Collins, Colorado.
