The Manhattan High boys swimming and diving team took third in the Centennial League in last Friday’s meet in Topeka.

Seaman (447 points) and Washburn Rural (444) finished ahead of the Indians (414).

For MHS, Zane Kohl won a league championship in 1-meter diving with a final score of 458.55.

Xander Say finished second in the 500-yard freestyle, completing it in 5:02.24. He also placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The MHS 200-yard medley relay team of Kyle Kramer, Igor Sheshukov, Dominik Lochmann and Suman Wang finished second, completing it about four seconds after Seaman’s relay team.

Kevin Kilner took third in the 50-yard freestyle for the Indians.

Sheshukov finished in third in the 100-yard freestyle.

The Indians will now prepare for the state swim meet, which takes place from Feb. 14 to 16 in Topeka.
