Wauthier, former KSU baseball coach, dies at 91

Raymond Wauthier, a long-time coach and faculty member at Kansas State University, died Tuesday at the Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community in Manhattan. He was 91.
Mr. Wauthier served as K-State’s baseball coach from the 1951 through the 1964 seasons. In 1977, he served as coach of the KSU golf team, a role he filled again between 1980 and 1986. He also spent many years as a professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at K-State.
