Lois (Wheeler) Eudaley, 84, died Friday, October 25, at the Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade.
She was born Feb. 27, 1929, in rural Gridley, the daughter of Chester Arthur and Audrey Aileen (Wilson) Wheeler. As a young girl, she attended the Emporia school system, graduating from Emporia High School.
On June 4, 1950, she married John “Bill” Eudaley in Emporia. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Manhattan for 53 years. Over the years she was a homemaker and later in life she worked as a cook for USD 383.
