James Lincoln Johns, 93, died Tuesday at home with his family members at his bedside.
He was born Jan. 13, 1920, in Manhattan. He was the son of Joseph Lincoln Johns and Josephine (Wylli) Johns.
The family provided some of the following information.
He attended the Manhattan Public Schools and actively participated in sports. He is still the record holder in the quarter mile at Manhattan High School.
He was a 1943 graduate of Kansas State University with a BS in Milling
