The Manhattan-Ogden school board will discuss ideas for high school level facilities during its next meeting.

The board’s special meeting is at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Education Center, 2031 Poyntz Ave.

The board will discuss possible improvements for high school buildings that may be included in a school bond the board plans to put to voters in November. In previous meetings, the board members said they do not support the idea of a second high school in the near future.

Possible discussions include how to best use the Manhattan High School east campus — to continue using it as the ninth-grade center or adapting it to serve another purpose — and security and safety improvements for both schools, among other improvements.
