  • Wauthier, former KSU baseball coach, dies at 91

    Raymond Wauthier, a long-time coach and faculty member at Kansas State University, died Tuesday at the Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community in Manhattan. He was 91. Mr. Wauthier served as K-State’s baseball coach from the 1951 through the 1964 seasons. In 1977, he served as coach of the KSU

    William C. “Bill” Henderson, 93, of Manhattan and formerly a longtime resident of Atchison died Monday at Via Christi Village in Manhattan.

    Jason Aaron Hardesty, 28, a lifetime resident of Manhattan died Tuesday at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan. He died after admitting himself for discomfort; the cause of death is still under investigation.

    Dean Leroy Picolet, 84, of McFarland died Monday in rural Belvue.

  • Harold Nehring

    Harold E. Nehring, 74, of Wamego died Tuesday at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan.

  • Mary Wells

    Mary M. Wells, 80, of Inman died Tuesday at Heartland Haven in rural Inman.

  • Allegra Reynolds

    Allegra Marie Reynolds died Saturday at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise.

  • Beatrice Kroenlein

    Beatrice “Grammy” Kroenlein, 96, died Monday in Lincoln.

  • Harold Nehring

    Harold R. Nehring, 74, of Wamego died today at The Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan.

  • Ora Glessner

    Ora “Jean”  Glessner, 88, of Council Grove and formerly of Alta Vista died Sunday at the Morris County Hospital.
