    Multiple vehicle burglaries reported

    There were several vehicle burglaries reported Friday morning in the northeast part of Manhattan that reportedly occurred overnight between Thursday and Friday. Five vehicle burglaries were reported in the 2900 block of Northwing Drive. Officer Matt Droge said the incidents resulted in a total loss of $726.

    Police are investigating reports of an impersonation of a doctor at Candlewood Pharmacy in Manhattan. Officer Matt Droge said an unknown person called the pharmacy, 3254 Kimball Ave., pretending to be a doctor from Sabetha Family Practice in Sabetha. Sabetha is a city in northeast Kansas.
