Why do you publish arrests anyway

We believe that arrests are newsworthy. That is, of course, a judgment call. But we made it decades ago and we continue to believe it today. We’re not interested in debating the policy because of one person’s arrest. If you would like to have a discussion about it sometime when it’s not about a particular arrest, feel free to contact Ned Seaton at 785-776-2200, ext. 255.
