3-0.  Reid beats the team he was just fired from after 14 years.  The Chief’s defense is one of the best in the NFL. What a difference over the past couple of years.

Tough schedule ahead.  Next game is with the Giants.  Eli and team down this year.  Chiefs could have a chance there.  Follow that with two games with Denver, two with Oakland, two with San Diege.  Mix in one with the Colts and one with the Texans.  Cleveland, Cincinatti, and the Titans might be good games.  Early on, everyone said an 8-8 season would be a success.  That is possible, but don’t think it’ll be much better than that.  With Dorsey as GM and Reid’s experience, wait until we see the off-season changes and look out for next year!!!!

I’ve now watched the Chiefs a few times.  They move the ball.  Great athletes. The quarterback is exceptional, pegging his 4th string tight ends with confidence and fast enough to turn 3rd and long into a 1st and ten with some regularity. They’ll be fun to watch, even when they lose.

Next up… Tennessee.  Should go 5-0.  Then the Raiders.  If the Chiefs keep improving could see 6-0.  The Texans may end the “streak”, but Reed may well drive improvement every week.

Chiefs’ defense is one of the best in the league.  So are special teams.  Offense is weak, but improving every game.  Fun to watch this year.
