Michael, was quite surprised, this afternoon, by a couple of your favorite varmits.  Southbound on Seth Childs, just north of Home Depot.  Traffic suddenly came to a stop.  Two deer crossed from Home Depot into the Southwind office complex.  This was about 3 p.m., with a ton of game traffic running bumper to bumper on Seth Childs.  They were probably sensing the need to get away from Wildcat Creek before this 4 to 5 straight days of rain begins tonight.

Not unusual to see deer inside the City.  Just thought it strange to see them crossing 4-lanes of traffic at 3 p.m.

What would a person be doing out driving at 3 PM? The deer probably thought that all normal humans would be napping at that hour, not out driving around.
