I’m told there was interesting discussion during last Wednesday’s School Board meeting re closed lunches.  A number of people were watching from home, interested in the outcome.  At exactly 8 p.m., just as administrative staff was standing to give their input on the issue, the televised meeting went blank… ended.  Evidently, someone had programmed the equipment to shut down at that time… sorta like “Snooze” on your radio or television.

We used to have difficulty with the streaming of City Commission meetings.  Since Civics Plus redid the City’s site, the streaming of commission meetings has been without flaw.  And, I don’t ever remember a time when Cable Channel 3 didn’t broadcast the entire commission meeting.  What’s up with the School Board meeting?  Who fell asleep at the controls and allowed the cameras to shut down at 8 p.m.????
