Announcement regarding expansion of commercial air service

Someone told me that the new service was going to be to Phoenix, not Denver.  If so, it seems that this is just another step on the part of American Airline’s to make Phoenix a “new” hub because it certainly isn’t one now.

So, it’s Allegiant and not American.  But still, Phoenix is not typically an airport where you make connections.  Phoenix has to be your destination.

What you say is true of American, but United has non-stops between Phoenix and a number of places.  ANY options beyond DFW to the south are welcome, in my book.  It’s warmer down there, ya’know…

I would have preferred Denver. Nicer airport and better connections to San Diego.  I had some efficient flights with that little airline that used to fly to Denver….Great Lakes…or something like that.
Phoenix is a crummy airport.  Odd, given the size of the town.
