Well Larry, what would you tell the millions of immigrants that are waiting to enter our country the “Legal” way?

Just because we share borders with two countries doesn’t give illegal aliens a free pass to enter and hid out waiting for amnesty.

While in Mexico, President Obama Promises Amnesty Next Year

Last week, while meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and
Mexican President Felipe Calderon in Guadalajara, Mexico, President Barack
Obama predicted Congress would pass an amnesty bill next year to legalize
more than 12 million illegal aliens who are presently in the United States.
(ABC News, August 11, 2009 and The Los Angeles Times, August 11, 2009).

While in Mexico, President Obama stated: “Secretary Napolitano is
coordinating these discussions, and I would anticipate that before the year
is out we will have draft legislation along with sponsors potentially in the
House and the Senate who are ready to move this forward, and when we come
back next year, that we should be in a position to start acting.”  The
President also conceded that overcoming the opposition of the American
people to an amnesty bill would be difficult, saying: “Am I going to be able
to snap my fingers and get this done?  No. This is going to be difficult.”
(ABC News, August 11, 2009).  The Los Angeles Times even suggested that
passing the bill would “prove [to be] a major political test.”

So B.O. wants to ignore our Immigration Laws?

Obama: “We Are All Connected” Whether You Crossed Rio Grande Or Landed on
Ellis Island

“No matter who you are. No matter where you can came from. No matter what
you look like. No matter whether your ancestors landed here on Ellis Island
or came here on slave ships or came across the Rio Grande, we are all
connected. We will rise and fall together. That’s the vision of America I’ve
got, that’s the idea of the heart of America,” President Obama said at a
fundraiser in San Francisco.

“That’s the idea of the heart of our campaign,” Obama added.

Illegals are here to work… and send money home.  That’s why they come, and they will risk NOTHING to jeopardize that.  I don’t know where you get your ideas about “why” they’re here, but, you obviously have never known any.

Face the fact that most illegal aliens are here only for what they can steal from the American Tax payers!

I’ve run in to dozens of immigrants, mostly here on work a work visa.  They are stealing nothing from the American tax payer.  They are performing jobs that you can’t find qualified citizens to perform.  “Stealing from the American Tax payer”???  How about Hannity and Beck who both shill for a business called ‘Tax Resolution. Com”?  Hannity will go on and on about someone who has not paid taxes for a number of years and owes the IRS a couple hundred thousand dollars.  He says they called this on-line business who got the tax obligation cut to less than 10%.  That, my friend, is “stealing from the American Tax payers”!!!  But, if a conservative voice box suggests it’s okay to steal from the IRS… that is okay.  Just don’t let us catch a Hispanic working hard and sending his dollars back home.  That’s evil incarnate!!!!

Yep.  Them thar Mexicans should all be deported.  They’s all gotta be illegals.  They work menial labor jobs and they don’t support the Repub candidates.  Worthless!!!  And, remember, they are ILLEGAL!!  They downright refuse to abide by Immigration Laws.  Good Americans ALL abide by the Laws of the Land…. like Obamacare.  No way would we Republicans ever suggest not following the letter of laws passed by Congress, now would we.

Immigrants should pay their fair share.  If they aren’t, lock ‘em up.  However, anyone employing illegals should also be locked up.  Slap-on-the-hand fines for employers using “slave labor” and paying them under the table won’t have an effect.  There needs to be a path… a means through which each and every one can be productive citizens.  Currently, the path is clogged and continued budget cuts will even put more roadblocks in the way of following the letter of the law.  The bi-partisan bill was a means through which citizenship could be attained via a long, ardorous process which would contribute to society… and contribute even more tax dollars.  It put no one “in front of those who were following the currently legal steps”.  Anyone currently in the system will be able to attain citizenship long before any of those covered under the bi-partisan bill would.

The Republican House started to put together a “Secure Border” bill that would stand alone from any comprehensive immigration bill.  Now, Republican leaders are balking at that since it would take dollars and more government employees and they are all about cutting ‘gubmint’.  You suggest some 11 million need deported.  At whose cost?  If the Repubs won’t fund increased border security… if Repubs won’t fund educating our children… if Repubs won’t fund continue clean air and water regulations… you are certain they will fund some means of rounding up and transporting 11 million immigrants out of the Country???

Illegal Aliens Receive Billions in IRS Tax Benefits

Friday, 23 Sep 2011 05:17 PM

By James Walsh

On July 7, 2011, the U.S. Department of Treasury’s inspector general for tax
administration issued a startling report entitled “Individuals Who Are Not
Authorized to Work in the United States Were Paid $4.2 Billion in Refundable
Credits.”

No wonder the nation’s finances are in turmoil.

******It is clear that unauthorized aliens are filing ITIN tax returns with
fraudulent data.******

The Treasury report found that “One common type of
fraudulent refund involves taxpayers fabricating a Wage and Tax Statement
(Form W-2) that shows excess withholding and results in a tax refund.”

Larry, here’s some jobs that according to you only illegal aliens will do!

American Workers Continue to Pick up Jobs Left Vacant by Immigration Raids

A new report in USA Today finds that unemployed U.S. citizens continue to
fill up jobs left vacant by immigration raids, particularly at meatpacking
and poultry plants. The reports says that plants impacted by the raids were
back up and running at full capacity within months of the raids.
Vanderbilt University professor Carol Swain said the raids were beneficial
to the American workforce.

“Whenever there’s an immigration raid, you find white, black and legal
immigrant labor lining up to do those jobs that Americans will supposedly
not do,” Prof. Swain said in the USA Today article.

The USA Today report cites a study conducted by Steven Camarota at the
Center for Immigration Studies that found Americans holding the majority of
positions in fields that many claim are dominated by illegal aliens.

For more on this story, see USA Today.

What say you?

I’m sorry, Dave.  You’re letting this Walsh character interpret your data for you, even REPLACE some words with others of his own.  Please look into this a little further before posting it as “proof” of anything.  It’s an OP-ED, forchristsakes, on a blatant propaganda website.  You’re going to have to show me this in an IRS report, or an OBM report or SOMETHING other than some idiot posting on the internet.

Randall this might help to.

Loophole!
Yesterday, Members of the House Ways & Means Committee voted 22-12 to stop
the IRS from giving refundable tax credits to illegal aliens.

Last year, the Inspector General for the U.S. Treasury Department released a
report revealing that illegal aliens annually receive $4.2 billion in
refundable tax credits, primarily through the Additional Child Tax Credit
(ACTC).

The Ways and Means Committee voted to close this tax credit loophole by
requiring that individuals who claim the ACTC provide a valid Social
Security Number (SSN), based on language introduced by Rep. Sam Johnson
(R-TX). Currently, the IRS only requires applicants for the ACTC to provide
an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), which the Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) indiscriminately hands out to illegal aliens.

The legislation was part of a budget reconciliation proposal that now goes
to the House Budget Committee for inclusion in a larger package aimed at
saving tax-payer dollars.

FAIR thanks the following Ways and Means Committee Members who voted to
close the loophole:

Chairman David Camp (R-MI) Rep. Jim Gerlach (R-PA)
Rep. Wally Herger (R-CA) Rep. Tom Price (R-GA)
Rep. Sam Johnson (R-TX) Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL)
Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE)
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL)
Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-KS)
Rep. Pat Tiberi (R-OH) Rep. Erik Paulsen (R-MN)
Rep. Geoff Davis (R-KY) Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX)
Rep. Dave Reichert (R-WA) Rep. Rick Berg (R-ND)
Rep. Charles Boustany (R-LA) Rep. Diane Black (R-TN)
Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) Rep. Tom Reed (R-NY)

******Members who voted against closing the loophole include:******

Rep. Ranking Member Sander Levin (D-MI) Rep. Mike Thompson, (D-CA)
Rep. Fortney Pete Stark, (D-CA) Rep. John B. Larson, (D-CT)
Rep. Jim McDermott, (D-WA) Rep. Ron Kind, (D-WI)
Rep. John Lewis, (D-GA) Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., (D-NJ)
Rep. Richard E. Neal, (D-MA) Rep. Shelley Berkley, (D-NV)
Rep. Lloyd Doggett, (D-TX) Rep. Joseph Crowley, (D-NY)

Larry here’s an interesting article on you question about deporting 11 million illegal aliens.

DHS confirms cheaper to deport every illegal alien than allowing them to
stay

  * December 8th, 2010 3:09 am ET

On December 3, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for
Legislative Affairs, Nelson Peacock, responding to request from several U.S.
Senators, including Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), wrote: “Our conservative
estimate suggests that ICE would require a budget of more than $135 billion
to apprehend, detain and remove the nation’s entire illegal immigrant
population.”

In July 2010, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) released
the results of a study which examined the costs of illegal immigration at
the federal, state and local levels. The study found that U.S. state and
local governments shell out $84.2 billion annually in various services (law
enforcement, schools, social services, etc.), with California taxpayers
alone, spending $21 billion on illegal aliens every year.

The same study found that $29 billion is spent every year in federal funds
on illegal aliens.

So, while it would cost a one-time fee of about $135 billion to deport every
single illegal alien in the country, it is actually a bargain considering
the fact that it already costs us $113 billion annually to keep them here.

In other words, the mass deportation would pay for itself in a little over a
year.

Incidentally, in 2007, the DHS estimated the cost of deporting all illegal
aliens to be approximately $94 billion.
