I was returning home from Manhattan this morning about 6:40 AM.  The road workers had already blocked off one lane.  I waited fifteen minutes, then, finally a couple of hundred cars passed by heading to Manhattan, and then I got my turn to go home.  What is wrong with these people? If they waited until 8:00, there wouldn’t be very many cars, but they decide to close this stretch of road at the busiest time of the day.
I have no objections to their road improvements…although I wonder why 24 has to be re-surfaced every year…but do it when the road is not filthy with traffic glued to one another’s bumpers.
