WSU fires their baseball coach after 36 yrs of service. I want to wish them terrible seasons, and the most miserable of records. They deserve it.
Heard he hadn’t made a recruiting trip in over 5 years, and also heard he was asked to retire but said no. Would have liked to have seen a classier exit but after 36 years I imagine he didn’t feel like going anywhere!
I think 36 years of success should purchase a few idiosyncratic credits. It is called loyalty. Not much in vogue as regards college athletics.
