Looks like we are going liberal again

If these preliminary results hold, we will have a fairly liberal commission.  I am sure that Wynn and John were not pleased.  Looks to me like Rich will make all the policy decisions…a one-man commission. He will be the swing vote on every major issue.  This should be fun to watch.

we elected three good people to run the town along with leftover conservative commissioners butler and matta.  i clearly did not offer the kind of government that citizens wanted going forward. and i’m sure even the thought of consolidation was enough to run off more than a few conservatives.  but overall, it seems to me the city wants to move policy in a different direction than we have today.  that’s okay.  in america, we accept their wisdom and move-on.
