I don’t know w hat it is doing in Manhattan, but here in Hooterville we have a mix of fog, snow, sleet and gale force winds.  Visibility is about zero.  I can’t see across the street. Not sure I have ever seen anything like this before.

Go curl up in your recliner, Michael, with your cats.  Stay off the roads.  They say there is black ice out there and will probably be plenty of accidents tonight.  I have to hit the road early a.m., tomorrow.  May get a chance to do some “black ice skating” myself.

I don’t own a recliner…never have.  When I was younger, it was because they were too stodgy looking…now I would worry about getting out of the thing.  I like straight leather chairs.
Take care out there tomorrow.

Wasn’t bad at all, this morning.  Of course, I usually am driving earlier than most of the idiots roll out of bed.  Was nice running 80 mph along I-70 with that west tail wind.

The speed limit in Kansas is “10 + 7”... 10% of the posted speed limit, plus 7 mph… over the limit.  i.e.  Posted 75 will allow 14 to 15 over before they ticket.  I usually just run 5 over most any posted limit.  If you run the posted speed, you’ll get run over.

That only applies on open highways.  In town, the parameters are much closer… as they should be.
