I haven’t been on a ship for a while and I was missing those weekend brunches that the carriers serve in the wardrooms.  So, decided, what the heck, I’ll make it here.  Eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns (mine will be real), some biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash.  The ships make to-order waffles and pancakes, but those are high in calorie count so I usually only get one or the other. No toast…same thing…empty calories. I will be utilizing two of the three basic Navy food groups…Grease, starch and sugar.  I skip the sugar for health reasons.  I don’t want to get any chubbier than I am already, so…I skip the sugar…mostly.  Does the syrup count as sugar?  It’s Blueberry.
