Of late, I am having trouble with these tiny little flying insects.  They seem to be all over and I can’t find the source.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Michael, I/we’ve had no notice of such pests in the recent past.  Are they inside or out… or both?

Larry,
They are inside.  I figure they must have arrived in something from the grocery store, but I can’t locate it.  My suspicions right now are focused on a pineapple which is sitting on the counter.

I was just thinking…now that I know that there are camels and zebras and elephants and tigers roaming the Flint Hills….maybe these are not fruit flies…they could be Tse-Tse flies.

Michael, I would rather believe the flying pests are simply gnats that have been attracted by your discarded wine boxes!!!!  :>)

I don’t think so.  After I saw that pride of lions in the backyard, and all you guy’s stories about African creatures in the flint hills, you have convinced me that we are in Africa…and these are Tse-Tse flies.  I shall put my mosquito tent over me and try to take a nap.
