An education community

Manhattan is served by the Manhattan-Ogden School District, otherwise known by its rather bureaucratic name of the Unified School District (or "USD") 383.
Surrounding areas include the Riley County district, the Rock Creek district, the Wamego district and the Blue Valley-Randolph district. District assignment -- and individual school assignments within districts -- generally depend on where you live.

There are also private schools in Manhattan, including the Manhattan Catholic schools and the Flint Hills Christian school. This section of the website includes reference information -- such as test scores and building inspections -- plus some news stories related to schools.
