Enrolling in public schools

The Manhattan-Ogden public school system has eight elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.

All children enrolling in Kansas public schools for the first time will need a Kansas Certificate of Immunization card; grade cards, certified transcript or similar record from previous school; proof of identity and Social Security number.

If the student is age 8 or younger, they will be required to present results of a physical examination to be completed withing 12 months before or 90 days after enrollment.

Children going in to kindergarten and first-grade who have not attended an accredited kindergarten will need to produce a birth certificate, a health assessment form and a Kansas Certificate of Immunization.
