Kansas State University Alumni Center

The K-State Alumni Center houses the Association offices and offers meeting and banquet facilities for the university and community. Open to the public in October 2002, the 52,000 square-foot facility has been funded entirely with private contributions by more than 1,300 donors.

    The decades-old theatre is being relocated from East Stadium to West Stadium to create a modern space for students to perform and learn, and to allow construction of the university’s new Welcome Center on the east side.

    Theresa Sparks, a world-renowned transgender advocate and former K-Stater.
    Sparks is known for her military service, work with San Francisco’s Human Rights Commission, being the former CEO of Good Vibrations, and her commitment to human rights and public service, among other things.
