Kansas State University Dance presents WinterDance 2012, which will run November 29th through December 1st in Nichols Theatre on the K-State campus.  WinterDance 2012 will feature faculty choreography in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap dance styles as well as work from new Assistant Professor of Dance, Laura Donnelly, one of which was inspired by the KSBN common reading book, “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.”  K-State students will perform the dances.  West African social dance will also be presented and will feature live music performed by student and faculty members of the K-State Percussion Studio.  David Ollington will feature a new work in collaboration with K-State Music Professor and Composer, Craig Weston.  Julie L. Pentz will show new jazz and modern as well as a gem from the K-State Tap Dance Ensemble repertoire.
