People of all ages from babies to teens to grandparents can participate. It’s free to sign up, and all you have to do is keep track of the time you spend reading in order to win fun prizes, like free books and gift certificates to local restaurants.
Last year more than 3,000 people participated in summer reading and together logged more than 1 million minutes of reading time.
Registration for the 2014 program begins June 1, either online at http://www.MHKLibrary.org or at the library.
Reading logs will begin June 1 and continue until July 31.
