Premier Chiropractic donates $10K
to Crisis Center
Premier Chiropractic & Wellness, owned and operated by Manhattan residents Dr. Dean and Felicia Dierksen, raised $10,000 for the Crisis Center.
The Crisis Center has been serving victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault in Clay, Geary, Marshall, Pottawatomie and Riley counties since 1979.
Premier Chiropractic semi-annually choose to raise funds for a local organization. It donates the proceeds of all first appointments to a local charity.
Now that the fundraising campaign has wrapped for The Crisis Center, Premier Chiropractic is turning their efforts to support the Flint Hills Community Center, which serves the health and wellness needs of the medically underserved by providing quality, compassionate, and personalized care.

Association picks Diamond Roofing owner as president
In October, Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) named Kevin Gwaltney of Diamond Roofing president of the association.
The MRCA held its annual convention in Omaha, where Gwaltney received the gavel from former president Greg Sprague of Sprague Roofing in Lincoln, Nebraska.
As the owner of Diamond Roofing, with locations in Dodge City and Manhattan, Gwaltney has attended the convention more than 20 times and is starting his 13th year on the MRCA Board of Directors.
Gwaltney’s term will end in November at the convention in Overland Park.
Farmers Alliance honors Copeland Insurance
The Farmers Alliance Companies in McPherson have announced that Copeland Insurance Agency in Manhattan has been named an advantage agent for 2019.
To qualify as an advantage agent for Farmers Alliance, an agency must exhibit “superior professionalism and profitability” over five consecutive years.
Copeland Insurance has been in existence since 1960 with nine locations throughout Kansas.
