Woman arrested for vehicle theft

Police arrested a Clay Center woman for vehicle theft and various drug charges after spotting her allegedly driving the stolen car near the intersection of McCall Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard Thursday around 5 p.m.

Lt. Josh Kyle said the arrest came after Clay Center detectives released an attempt to locate report about a stolen 2005 Mercury Montego. He said a local officer spotted the car and performed a traffic stop.

Jandrea Siebold, 46, was arrested for felony theft, driving while suspended, possession of methamphetamine, possession of Oxycontin, unlawful possession of certain drug precursors and drug paraphernalia and DUI.

Siebold is confined to the Riley County Jail on $9,000 bond.
