Woman arrested for aggravated battery

Riley County officers arrested a Garden City woman Saturday after she allegedly struck a bartender at Drinx in the head with a beer bottle.

Jasmine Ramirez, 24, was arrested for aggravated battery and disorderly conduct, after police were called to Drinx, 1206 1/2 Moro St., at approximately 4:40 p.m., Sgt. Brad Ingalls said.

The victim was Ryan Nuessen, 22, Manhattan, who received stitches at Mercy Regional Health Center, Ingalls said.

Ramirez was released on $5,000 bond.
