William “Beaver” Ensley Jr., 47, of Manhattan, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan.

The family provided the following information.

He was born on Aug. 5, 1966, in Manhattan, the son of Bill and Marcella (Perez) Ensley Sr.  He attended schools in the area and graduated from Manhattan High School.

Beaver was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandpa, Ray Ensley, his maternal grandparents, Julian and Maria Perez, and also his nephew Jesse Ensley and niece Christina Ensley.

Survivors include his brother Sam Ensley and his sister Regina Ulrich of Manhattan; his daughter, Jennifer; his niece, Angela and his nephews, Phillip and Christopher.  He is also survived by his grandma, Grace Ensley, of Manhattan and his caregiver, LaDonna Froman.

The family will greet friends during a visitation from 7-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Beaver will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014, at the Antioch Cemetery, south of Frankfort.  Friends are invited to meet at the funeral home at 9 a.m. to form a procession to the cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Good Shepherd Hospice House.  Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
